In 1358, there were protests against the royal "rights". At that time, there were 52 farm-worker families in Lesaka. In 1368, the King granted all of Lesaka and Bera's taxes to Tercellet de Anecurt for the services he had provided during the King's imprisonment in France.

Lesaka: stage for acts of warfare

In 1813, during the campaign against Napoleon, the Duke of Wellington set up his headquarters in Lesaka for almost three months. Given its strategic position, the town was also the scene for acts of warfare during the Carlist wars.
